Hello and welcome!

As for me, well…
I’m just a girl who appreciates quinoa and bacon equally.

What? You want to know more? Alright…

  • I love avocados beyond all reason.
  • Other current food loves:
    • Everything bagels (with a healthy schmear of full-fat Philadelphia cream cheese)
    • Mussels (steamed in beer or white wine with LOTS of lemon)
    • Tofu pad thai
    • Hummus (local caterer Roots makes  my new favorite: chipotle!)
    • Deviled eggs (with minced cornichons, Maile dijon and Veganaise)
    • Scallops
  • I can’t function without my morning coffee. (current favorite: Dynamite Roasting Company’s Sumatra Mandehling)
  • Dishes with fresh ingredients cooked simply are my preference, but I’ve been known to indulge in a few unsavory food habits.
  • …like eat imitation crab meat sautéed with butter and lemon, then spread on toast for dinner. (What?! Do you know what that stuff is made of?? Yes. I try not to think about it.)
  • Red wine over white, unless the dish calls for it.
  • And, yes - I think the shape of the pasta matters.
